Job Description

Based in Hallam, we are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver with a current MR Licence for delivery and pick up of plasterboard and building materials on a full time basis.

This position is best suited to a highly reliable and motivated individual, who holds a current Medium Rigid Truck Australian Drivers Licence. You will be a team player with solid customer service skills both face to face and on the phone. You will also possess a clean driving history and have the ability to follow instructions. Forklift licence also of benefit.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

n

Load and unload construction materials at various job sites (forklift and manual)
n
Adhere to customer specifications when loading and unloading products
n
Report stock damage and discrepancy issues, assist with stock takes, general warehouse duties including housekeeping and cleanliness
n
Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections
n




Maintain delivery documentation and logs
n
Communicate with dispatch and site managers regarding delivery updates
n
Strictly comply with all company Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines, procedures and policies at all times
n
Ensure to maintain a high standard of truck cleanliness
n

To be successful you will need to:

n

n
Hold a current MR Licence(essential)
n
Hold a White Card (Construction Induction)
n
Have a minimum of 2 years driving experience
n
Good communication skills and a qualified attitude
n
Robust ability to follow instructions and WHS requirements at all times
n
Experience in the plasterboard industry of benefit
n
Crane ticket an advantage
n

Hours of work are 6am to 3pm plus overtime as required.
