Job Description
Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Safety Coordinator to provide a critical role at Barwon Prison, a maximum-security facility near Geelong.
The role focuses on coordinating, supporting and monitoring Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) within Corrections, with emphasis on implementing actions related to a safer workplace.
You will educate Corrections staff on safety matters, including violence prevention, slips, trips and falls, manual handling and psychosocial hazards,
