About the Role
n
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Windows Systems Integration Specialist to join a highly skilled technical team based in Canberra.
n
In this permanent position, you will be responsible for the design, build, configuration, security hardening and testing of Windows-based systems. Working closely with engineering, security and technical teams, you will deliver secure, reliable and supportable solutions that meet operational and security requirements.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Building, configuring and maintaining Windows server and workstation environments
n
Administering Active Directory, Group Policy and Windows security controls
n
Implementing system hardening and security baseline configurations
n
Applying operating system updates, patches and configuration changes
n
Troubleshooting software, system and integration issues
n
Supporting testing, quality assurance and compliance activities
n
Integrating Windows platforms with network, security and application components
n
Developing automated and repeatable system build processes
n
Producing technical documentation, procedures and configuration guides
n
Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
n

The Successful Candidate
n




To be successful in this role, you will possess:
n
n
Demonstrated experience administering Windows Server and desktop environments
n
Strong knowledge of Windows configuration, management and troubleshooting
n
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy and Windows Defender
n
Experience implementing secure system configurations and hardening controls
n
Knowledge of Windows networking, authentication and system services
n
Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISM, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, STIGs or similar
n
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
n
Experience producing technical documentation and system build guides
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
The ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
n
