Downlands College is seeking applications from qualified teachers registered with the Queensland College of Teachers for a full time, permanent position as a secondary English teacher, commencing with the start of the **** academic year.

Requirements

Qualifications to teach Secondary English
n
Capacity to teach Senior Literature may be advantageous
n
Capacity to teach Religious Education and/or a second teaching area may be advantageous




n
Confidence in extending and enriching student learning
n
Willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College is essential
n
Knowledge and understanding of the AITSL Professional Standards and their relevance to effective teaching and learning
