About the Role
n
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys collaborative healthcare and is interested in working with people experiencing complex and persistent pain presentations.
n
Employment Type: Permanent ongoing part-time
n
Hours: ********* FTE
n
Days: Mondays and Fridays required; additional days negotiable
n
Salary: $70 - $80 per hour + superannuation
n We offer flexibility around the span of hours and are open to discussing arrangements what suit the right clinician.
n
You will work closely with Pain Specialists and allied health clinicians to provide individual and group-based psychological interventions. The role will involve supporting clients to develop practical strategies for managing pain, improving function and building confidence in their ability to self-manage.

The caseload will include a combination of private patients and third-party patients, including WorkCover and TAC clients.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide psychological assessment and evidence-based treatment for people experiencing persistent pain.
n
Develop and implement individual treatment plans within a multidisciplinary framework.
n
Work collaboratively with Pain Specialists and allied health clinicians to support coordinated patient care.
n
Facilitate group-based education and psychological intervention sessions.
n
Support clients to develop effective pain management, pacing and self-management strategies.
n
Assist clients to improve psychological wellbeing, confidence and functional outcomes.
n
Contribute to case discussions and multidisciplinary care planning.
n
Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and professional standards.
n
Contribute to a positive, supportive and team-oriented clinical culture.
n

Current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist.
n
Full working rights in Australia.
n
Strong interest in multidisciplinary healthcare and collaborative practice.
n
Ability to work independently while actively contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Commitment to evidence-based, person-centred care.
n
Experience or interest in any of the following would be advantageous:
n

Rehabilitation psychology.
n
Trauma-informed care.
n
Complex or chronic health conditions.
n
WorkCover, TAC or other third-party funded patients.
n
Group-based psychological or educational interventions.
n
n
Experience in plain management is not essential. We are particularly interested in clinicians who are curious, collaborative and motivated to develop their skills in this area.
