We are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a growing business and work closely with the Finance Manager across a broad range of accounting and financial functions.

This is a great chance for someone looking for a part‐time position with the potential to move into full‐time, who enjoys a hands‐on position and is comfortable working across both day‐to‐day accounting and month‐end reporting.

Your New Role
n
Working alongside the Finance Manager, you will play an important role in keeping the financial operations of the business running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and monitoring accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash flow
n
Assisting with month‐end reporting, reconciliations and financial reporting
n
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
n
Assisting with BAS, payroll and FBT requirements
n
Maintaining the fixed asset register and ensuring financial records remain accurate
n
Supporting annual financial statements and other compliance requirements
n
Assisting with invoicing, project costing and intercompany reconciliations
n




Providing general finance support across the business as required
n

About You
n
We are looking for a qualified and experienced accountant who is confident working autonomously and can manage a varied workload.
n
Ideally, you will have:
n
n
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
n
Strong financial accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing or a similar environment
n
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
n
Excellent organisational and time management skills
n
The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
n
Strong communication skills and a professional approach to confidential information
n
n
