We're looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Stewards to join our busy Food & Beverage team.
n
As a Kitchen Steward, you'll play an key role in supporting our chefs and kitchen teams by keeping our kitchens clean, organised and running smoothly.
n
The Day to Day
n
As part of our kitchen team, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Operating wash-up areas and ensuring a constant supply of clean crockery, cutlery, utensils and kitchen equipment
n
Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, benches and work areas
n
Sweeping and mopping floors and maintaining clean and safe kitchen areas
n
Removing rubbish and disposing of waste correctly
n
Assisting with opening and closing cleaning procedures
n
Ensuring cleaning chemicals and equipment are used and stored safely
n
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
n
Reporting hazards, damaged equipment or maintenance concerns to your manager
n
Supporting the wider kitchen team as required
n

You take pride in keeping your work area clean and organised, work well as part of a team and can keep up in a busy kitchen environment.
n
n
Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or similar role is desirable
n
An understanding of food hygiene and workplace safety requirements
n
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and Safety Data Sheets is an advantage
n
Good organisational and time-management skills
n
A positive attitude and willingness to support the kitchen team
n
Availability across seven days, including mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays
n
