Youwillberesponsibleformaintainingandrepairingawiderangeofmechanicalequipmenttoensuredailystationoperationsrunefficiently.Theroleoffersasupportiveteamenvironment,accommodationandmeals,andvisasponsorshipforeligibleoverseasapplicantsseekingalong-termcareeropportunityinAustralia.

Key Responsibilities
Carryoutscheduledservicing,maintenance,andrepairsondieselvehicles,trucks,motorcycles,andstationmachinery
Diagnosemechanicalfaultsandperformtimelyrepairstominimiseequipmentdowntime
Respondpromptlytomechanicalbreakdownsandemergencycall-outs
Operateworkshopequipmentandtoolssafelyandefficiently
Maintainaccurateservicerecordsandmonitorpartsinventoryfortimelyreordering
Ensurecommonlyusedsparepartsarekeptinstock
Provideguidanceandbasictrainingtostationstaffonroutineequipmentinspectionsandservicing
Followworkplacehealthandsafetyproceduresatalltimes




Workindependentlyandcollaborativelyinaremoteworkingenvironment

Requirements & Eligibility
TradequalificationinDieselMechanics,HeavyVehicleMechanics,orarelatedmechanicaltrade
Minimumtwoyearsofrelevantpost-trademechanicalexperience
Experiencemaintainingheavyvehicles,agricultural,mining,orstationequipmentishighlyregarded
Strongmechanicaldiagnosticandfault-findingskills
Abilitytosafelyoperatediagnosticandtestingequipment
Currentdriver'slicenceequivalenttoanAustralianCClasslicence
Motorcyclelicence,HRlicence,orMClicencewillbeadvantageous
Abilitytoworkinremotelocationsandadapttovaryingworkconditions
Strongproblem-solvingabilitiesandaproactiveapproachtomaintenance
