Leading provider to the healthcare market

Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
n
Monday to Friday, full time hours, with possibility of weekend work
n
Coordinate the effective and timely management of quality control testing of raw materials, intermediates and final products
n
Ensure training requirements are met for QC Analysts and QC Support Assistants, as per established processes and procedures
n
Following approved procedures to perform a range of tests, Immunohaematology assays, Antibody Screening and Phenotyping.
n
Assist in specimen reception duties by logging and receiving samples onto the Laboratory Information System
n
QC processes are validated, and qualified equipment and premises conform to GxP requirements.
n
All equipment is appropriately validated, maintained and within calibration.
n
Support the operational area pro-actively to prevent invalid assays
n
Review, approve and authorise QC test results as per approved procedures
n

About you:
n
n
Tertiary education in Science
n
Experience in
Pathology/Laboratory,
Reference Immunohaematology or blood banking
n
Working knowledge of applicable GMP/GLP regulations, TGA guidelines, and other applicable regulations and guidance
n
Proven technical writing and editing skills
n
Demonstrated track record in effective project management
