About the role

This position is responsible for administering accounts payable and receivable, processing bank reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
n
Accounts Payable (AP) Management
n
Accounts Receivable (AR) & Credit Control
n
Daily bank reconciliations across all corporate accounts.
n
Compliance Assistance
n
Daily/weekly sales report
n
Qualifications and Experience
n
Education: Diploma in Accounting/Finance, or a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce/Accounting is highly regarded.
n
Experience:
1–2 years of experience in a dedicated bookkeeping, transactional accounting, or Accounts Officer role.
n
Software Skills: Proficiency with contemporary ERP or cloud accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, MYOB, Xero) and intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
n
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and a knack for spotting numerical discrepancies.
n
Communication Skills: Skilled, polite, and firm manner when handling debt collection and supplier disputes.
n
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet strict payment and reporting deadlines.
n
Problem-Solving: Proactive in reconciling account variances and investigating missing documentation.
