The Role
n
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll take ownership of HVAC system design from concept through to delivery. You'll work closely with clients, builders, and internal teams to develop practical, high-performance solutions tailored to each project.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design and develop HVAC systems from concept through to detailed design and delivery
n
Take ownership of system performance, efficiency, and overall design outcomes
n
Analyse and optimise system design to meet project and client requirements
n
Liaise directly with clients, builders, and consultants to define project needs and provide technical guidance
n




Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and deliverables are met
n
Produce and review technical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit
n
Coordinate with drafting, estimating, and senior management to ensure integrated project delivery
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
Required:
n
n
Minimum 2 years' experience in HVAC or mechanical building services engineering
n
Relevant engineering qualification (and registration if applicable)
n
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM experience highly regarded
n
Solid understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical services, and system design principles
n
Advanced working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
n
Strong problem-solving ability with a focus on practical, buildable solutions
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
n
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
n
n
Preferred:
n
n
Experience working on high-end residential or bespoke projects
n
Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, ductwork, and mechanical assemblies
n
Exposure to BIM environments or project coordination
n
Experience engaging directly with clients or leading design discussions
n
n
