AWX are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our client based in Marrickville.
This is an ongoing opportunity for a skilled fitter with strong mechanical maintenance and TIG welding experience.
We are seeking candidates who has worked in Food/ Beverage/ Pharmaceutical industries (GMP Knowledge).
The role requires you to work Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm with flexibility required for OT and weekend work.
There is also a requirement to work at the Revesby site.
Both sites are planned to relocate to Yennora in mid ****.
What You'll Do:
Mechanical fitting, maintenance and repairs (Preventative and breakdown)
Machining parts and TIG Welding
Upgrading machinery
Fault finding, Tag and test
Reading mechanical drawings
Using hand and power tools
Following all WHS and site procedures
What You'll Need:
Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification and experience
Electrical Disconnect/ Reconnect Ticket
Food/ Pharma manufacturing experience
Experience working in confined spaces and at heights




TIG welding experience is essential
Ability to read mechanical drawings
Reliable and safety-focused attitude
Flexibility for overtime and weekend work
Ability to work at Marrickville and Revesby as required
