A well-established Tier 2 builder is seeking an experienced No.2 Foreman to join their team for the construction of a brand-new $2M+ commercial development in Orange.

n

This is a excellent opportunity for a confident and capable Foreman who enjoys being hands-on, driving trades and taking ownership of the day-to-day delivery of a project.

n

The project will involve construction from the ground up, including civil works, structure, external works, services and detailed internal fit out.

Requirements

n

n
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Foreman with a head contractor
n
Strong commercial construction experience with a trade background highly desirable
n
Confident reading plans, drawings and specifications
n
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and buildability
n
Confident driving subcontractors and trades
n
Strong leadership, communication and WHS skills
n
Comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously
n
Proven experience across both external works and internal fit out
n




Someone capable of running a project from the ground up through to completion
n

Responsibilities

n

n
Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day delivery of the project
n
Drive trades and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to program
n
Coordinate construction activities across civil, structural, external and internal works
n
Take ownership of allocated areas from groundworks through to completion
n
Monitor quality, progress, safety and site standards
n
Identify and resolve issues before they impact the program
n
Coordinate with the Site Manager, Project Manager, subcontractors and consultants
n
Assist with inspections, defects and project close-out
n

This is an excellent chance for a driven No.2 Foreman who wants more responsibility, enjoys running trades and is looking to develop into a No.1 Foreman/Site Manager.
