Job Purpose

Responsible for
Supervision of the Assembly team to achieve scheduled production targets and to identify areas of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor labour efficiencies and make recommendations for improvement.
Identify skills gaps, train staff and assess competencies.
Manage requests for leave and report on absenteeism.
Monitor quality and report on any product non-conformance.




Identify and contribute to continuous quality / improvement projects.
Report all hazards and investigate reported incidents.
Ensure that health and safety guidelines are always followed.
Support Environmental and Sustainability initiatives.
Monitor and encourage good housekeeping practices.
Production / Assembly knowledge.
Interpersonal skills and able to motivate the team.
Problem solving and decision making.
Transparent communication both Verbal and Written.
Planning, Organizing and attention to detail.
Adherence to Company policies and Safety procedures.

Desired Education / Skills
Minimum 2 years experience in a team leader role supervising assembly and or warehouse staff
Robust PC skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite)
