The Holmwood Group has been leading the industry in bulk liquid transport for over 50 years. Due to an increase in work in our Service department, we arecurrently seeking a trailer mechanic with experience working within the heavy transport industry. Candidates with previous experience working in a service and repairs department are highly desired.

Previous working experience as a diesel mechanic or an automotive mechanic
Knowledge of pneumatic systems
Knowledge of hydraulics desirable but not required
Experience on trailer servicing and refurbishing
Current valid driver's licence

On offer for immediate start is a casual role at our brand new production facility in a convenient Derrimut location close to Ring road. After a two month period, a formal review will be conducted to determine whether a permanent position will be offered. This position would suit someone looking for a stable position and the opportunity to be a part of an organisation.
Your key responsibilities include but at not limited to :
Meeting deadlines in appointed time frames
General fitting and mechanical work for trailers
Repairs and maintenance of trailers including pneumatics
Conducting safety/suitability tests and other system checks
Suspension maintenance, repairs, and fit-out
Ability to operate use tools and machinery accurately
