We are currently seeking cleaning staff for a part time position in the Geelong area. Previous cleaning experience is essential. On-site training will also be provided to the successful applicant.

Positions available are for early morning shifts starting at 6am and finishing at 9am, however overtime may be requested.

n

Job tasks and responsibilities

n

To be successful for this position you must have:

n

General cleaning duties including litter collection from bins, vacuuming and dusting, sweeping and mopping floors.

n

Laundry handling and processing experience (essential).

n

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

n

Aprofessional and honest approach towork.

n

Ability to follow health and safety regulations.

n

Full training will be given to the successful applicants.

n

Cleaning of office buildings and administration areas, toilets and showers.

n

Your main responsibilities will include cleaning of office buildings and administration areas, toilets and showers.

n

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

n

Previous laundry experience (essential).

n

Operation of vacuum cleaner,



floor buffing machine and carpet cleaning machine. All equipment will only be used after full training is provided.

n

Previous knowledge and understanding of working in a laundry would be an advantage.

n

Training in the safe use and distribution of chemicals.

n

Full drivers license. Due to early 6am start, protected and secure onsite parking is provided.

n

Requirements Of the Role

n

The successful applicant will need to be physically fit and be able to pass a medical check which will include a drug and alcohol test.

n

You must be able to pass a criminal history check.

n

Excellent verbal and communication skills.

n

A sound understanding of OH&S; procedures.

n

Must be a resident of the Geelong area.

n

Some Laundry experience would be an advantage.

n

This is a part time position, Monday to Friday with hours of work consisting of early morning shifts - 6am start to 9am finish.

n
