You’ll work alongside the Head Chef, lead from the pass and help a growing community venue build its reputation for great food.

What you’ll do
Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations and team leadership
Run service with a focus on food quality, timing and presentation
Train and support chefs, cooks and kitchen hands
Assist with ordering, stock control, food costs and waste management
Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
Lead the kitchen when the Head Chef is away





What you’ll bring
Experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent recognised qualification
Confidence leading service in a busy pub, bistro or restaurant
A positive understanding of food costs, stock control and food safety
A hands-on approach and clear, respectful communication
Availability across weekdays, nights and weekends
