Smythesdale Pharmacy is looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Dispense Technician to join our team in a full time position.

n

We are a busy independent community pharmacy servicing Smythesdale and the surrounding region. Our pharmacy offers a wide range of services including dispensing, Webster packing, medication delivery, NDIS and Support at Home consumables, Farm Door meals and sleep apnoea services.

n

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, learning new skills and being involved across different areas of the pharmacy.

About the role

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
Assisting with dispensing and processing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
n
Managing prescription workflow and customer medication requests
n
Assisting with Webster packing and medication management services
n
Customer service and point of sale
n
Stock ordering, receiving and inventory management
n
Coordinating medication and customer deliveries
n
Assisting with PharmLink consumable orders
n
Assisting with Farm Door meal orders
n
General pharmacy administration and daily operations
n

About you

n





We are looking for someone who:

n

n
Has completed or completing Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy
n
Has strong attention to detail
n
Is reliable, organised and able to work independently
n
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Is confident using computers and learning new systems
n
Enjoys working as part of a small team
n
Is willing to learn and take on responsibility
n

n

Previous pharmacy or dispensary experience is preferred, however training can be provided for the right person.

n

Experience with Z Dispense or Webster packing would be highly regarded

n
