A varied, hands-on position for an admitted solicitor who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing setting. You will work alongside the Principal Solicitor, managing a diverse caseload and contributing to client outcomes from day one. The role commences part-time with a transparent view to full-time as the firm grows.

Key responsibilities

Manage caseloads across criminal, family law and IVO matters
n
Draft correspondence, court documents, briefs and affidavits
n
Appear in the Magistrates, County and Supreme Courts and FCFCOA
n
Liaise with clients, counsel, prosecutors and courts
n
Maintain file notes, time recording and trust compliance
n
Assist with estates, debt recovery and civil matters
n
Contribute to firm processes, precedents and templates
n

About you

n

n
Admitted solicitor in Victoria — 0 to 3 years PQE
n
Sound understanding of criminal and/or family law procedure
n




Confident advocate — written, oral and in court
n
Organised, self-motivated, deadline-driven
n
Comfortable working independently in a small firm
n
Smokeball or similar practice management software preferred
n
Commitment to client service and professional integrity
n
