Job Description
Doctors of Coburg North is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our friendly and professional team on a Permanent Part-Time basis. We are a busy, fully accredited bulk-billing general practice providing comprehensive healthcare services to our local community. Our clinic operates 7 days per week from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Key responsibilities

n
Conducting Health Assessments and Chronic Disease Management activities
n
Assisting with GP Management Plans (GPMPs) and Team Care Arrangements (TCAs)
n
Patient education, recalls, and preventative health initiatives
n
Childhood, Adult, and Travel Vaccinations
n
Wound Care and Dressings
n
Assisting GPs with procedures and treatment room management
n
ECGs, Spirometry, and other clinical nursing duties
n
Infection control and cold chain management
n
Monitoring and maintaining medical stock and supplies
n
Ensuring accurate clinical documentation and patient records

About you

Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN)
n
Previous experience working in an Australian General Practice
n
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
n
Current CPR Certificate
n
High level of organisational and time management skills
n
Experience using Best Practice Software
n
Desirable: Experience with Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments
n
Desirable: Experience with Childhood and Adult Immunisations
