Zeal Landscapes & Maintenance is a growing, family-owned landscaping business based in Pakenham, servicing South-East Melbourne, Melbourne's surrounding suburbs.

We specialise in landscape construction and outdoor projects, including turf installation, retaining walls, decking, paving, concreting, fencing, drainage and general landscaping.

We are looking for a qualified, experienced, reliable and hardworking Landscaper to join our growing team.

This position will initially be 4 days per week, with the opportunity to transition into ongoing full-time employment We are looking for someone who is interested in building a long-term career with our business.

About the Role
n
The successful applicant will have solid experience in landscape construction and be confident working both independently and as part of a small team.
n




You will be involved in a variety of residential landscape construction projects and will be expected to complete work to a high standard while maintaining a safe, clean and professional work workplace.
n

General landscape construction and maintenance
n
Excavation, earthworks and site preparation
n
Operating excavators and Posi Track loaders
n
Turf preparation, soil preparation and turf installation
n
Retaining wall construction
n
Decking and timber construction
n
Paving and concreting
n
Fencing and timber works
n
Garden bed construction and general landscaping
n
Drainage and site preparation
n
Safe operation and use of landscaping machinery, tools and equipment
n
Loading, unloading and handling materials
n
General site preparation and site clean-up
n
Following workplace health and safety requirements
n
Delivering high-quality workmanship across all projects
n
n
About You
n
The ideal candidate will have:
n
n
Minimum 4 years' experience in landscaping or landscape construction
n
Certificate III in Landscape Construction (AHC*****) or an equivalent relevant qualification
n
Demonstrated experience across a range of landscape construction projects
n
Proven experience operating excavators
n
Experience operating Posi Track loaders and other landscaping machinery is highly regarded
n




Relevant machinery tickets/licences are highly regarded, however practical operating experience will also be considered
n
A current Australian driver's licence
n
Reliable transport and the ability to travel to different job sites
n
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
n
Strong work ethic, reliability and punctuality
n
Pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
n
A good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
n
The ability to follow instructions and take responsibility for completing assigned tasks
n
