Human Resources Generalist / Business Partner
Provide proactive support and accurate advice to employees and managers on HR procedures, recruitment, employment law, and employee relations.
Serve as a trusted partner on issues such as absence management, conflict resolution, and termination processes.
Build strong relationships across the organisation to support initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing and engagement.
Policy & ComplianceMaintain HR policies, procedures, and supplier contracts in line with current legislation and company philosophy.
Ensure compliance with local labour laws and internal standards.
Manage contract documentation, standard templates and information accuracy
Benefits ManagementProvide guidance and implement benefits programs such as superannuation, private health care, income protection, group life insurance, and other health and wellbeing schemes.
Align benefits strategy with stakeholders and manage execution to mitigate risk.
HR Systems & Data SupportSupport and maintain HR systems and platforms (e.g. internal communication tools, employee portals, and productivity systems such as FirstUp and the Productivity Portal).




Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and effective use of systems to support decision-making.
Employee Experience / Lifecycle OwnershipContribute to onboarding and key employee lifecycle moments.
Change ManagementSupport through organisational change, ensuring clear communication and employee support.
Learning & Development
Support identification of development needs.
Projects & Initiatives
Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives that improve the workplace culture.
Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and practices, including the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, and modern awards
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills
Proven ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively
Strong planning and organizational habits
