Job Description

As a Body Repair Technician, you will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to a high standard, ensuring repairs are completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer specifications. You will play an important role within our Paint & Repair Centre at Illawarra Toyota, a professional, well-established automotive dealership.

Key responsibilities

Carrying out quality vehicle body repairs and panel work
n
Assessing vehicle damage and determining the required repairs
n
Removing, repairing and refitting damaged body panels and components
n
Straightening and repairing vehicle body structures where required
n
Ensuring correct panel alignment, gaps and finishes
n
Working closely with our paint and mechanical teams throughout the repair process
n
Following manufacturer repair procedures and specifications
n
Ensuring all repairs meet our quality and safety standards
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop
n
Completing work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
n

About you

Is an experienced and qualified Panel Beater / Body Repair Technician
n
Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship
n




Has solid attention to detail
n
Can accurately assess vehicle damage and carry out repairs
n
Works well independently and as part of a team
n
Has a strong commitment to safety and quality
n
Is reliable, organised and takes ownership of their work
n
Has a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a excellent team environment
n
Experience working with Toyota vehicles or within a dealership/collision repair workplace will be highly regarded
n
