About the role
n
As the GIS & Spatial Systems Specialist, you
n will lead the development,



support and continuous improvement of Council's GIS,
n 3D visualisation and spatial technology platforms. Working closely with
n stakeholders across the organisation, you will deliver innovative spatial
n solutions, provide expert advice and ensure the effective use of spatial data
n and technology to support strategic planning, service delivery and informed
n decision-making.
n
Apply your technical expertise, business analysis
n and stakeholder engagement skills to drive innovation and deliver meaningful
n outcomes for the organisation and community.
n
Skills and experience
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Geospatial Science, Geomatic Engineering, Land Information or related discipline.
n
Demonstrated experience managing and supporting GIS environments, including ESRI technologies and 3D
visualisation/modelling
solutions.
n
Technical experience in using the following products: Weave; NearMap; TerraExplorer;
ArcGIS/ArcMap/ArcGIS
Server/ArcPad/ArcGIS
Online; ERDAS Apollo; Lumion
n
Knowledge and experience in the asset management industry.
n
Well-developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to provide specialist advice and build productive relationships across a diverse range of audiences.
n




Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively, and contribute to strategic projects and organisational outcomes.
n
