Working approximately 30 hours per week, this is a hands-on HR Coordinator role suited to someone who enjoys being involved across the full employee lifecycle and can confidently manage competing priorities in a quick-paced environment. You will work closely with senior management and an external HR provider, taking ownership of the day-to-day HR, recruitment and workforce compliance functions across the business.
Key responsibilities
Coordinating end-to-end recruitment, including advertising, candidate screening, interviews, reference checks and offers
Managing employee onboarding and offboarding processes
Preparing employment contracts, letters and other HR documentation
Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
Monitoring mandatory employee compliance requirements, qualifications, licences, screening and training
Maintaining compliance registers and following up outstanding requirements
Supporting probation reviews and performance review processes
Assisting managers with day-to-day HR queries and employee matters




Monitoring leave, attendance and workforce documentation
Producing regular recruitment, compliance and HR reporting for management
About you
Previous experience in an HR, People & Culture or HR Coordinator role
Strong recruitment and onboarding experience
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Awards
Experience managing employee compliance and HR records
Excellent written communication and documentation skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
Confidence communicating with employees and managers at all levels
A professional approach to confidential and sensitive information
The ability to work independently while knowing when to escalation matters for specialist HR advice
Experience within the community services, disability, youth, residential care or NDIS sectors would be highly regarded
