Key responsibilities

Oversee and assist with daily farm operations, including feeding, health monitoring and egg collection
n
Manage, supervise and train farm staff, ensuring adherence to safety and biosecurity protocols and best practices
n
Monitor egg production, quality, and inventory levels
n
Ensure the well‐being of our hens by implementing proper housing, feeding, and healthcare practices
n
Oversee and assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
n
Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, incidents or issues
n
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and safety, environmental, and animal welfare standards
n
Coordinate your team's shifts and on high risk days ensure the birds are kept cool and all systems are working well
n

About you
n
n
Previous experience in egg or poultry farming is preferred with strong knowledge of poultry health




n
Experience with an aviary system will be highly regarded
n
Strong leadership, organisational and problem‐solving skills
n
Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
n
Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
n
An unfaltering commitment to biosecurity protocols
n
Familiarity with egg production processes, animal husbandry, and farm equipment
n
