Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join us in Rockhampton.

Key responsibility

n

n
Assisting with preparation of Proposals, Reports, Applications, and other Submissions.
n
Assessment and documentation of clients' requirements and preparation of contracts.
n
Assessment and monitoring of the status and performance of projects with a focus on delivery of contract requirements within specified timeframes.
n
Responsible for the project finance, including invoicing, cost tracking, variations etc.
n
Liaison with the client and approval authorities regarding performance and delivery of contract requirements.
n
Fostering of Business Development prospects.
n
Act as the Superintendents representative for our construction contracts.
n

Qualifications

n

n
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline.




n
Demonstrated work experience in the industry
n

n

Required experience

n

n
A minimum of 4+ years' experience in qualified engineering services.
n
Experience with the development approval process with Local Authorities.
n
Exposure to a broad range of engineering issues and concepts.
n
Knowledge of systems and procedures relating to the role, including practical knowledge, principles and methods of engineering, and relevant codes, standards and engineering legislation.
n
Ability to use information technology, including AutoCAD, 12D Solutions, Microsoft Office Programs and any other applicable software packages.
