Key responsibilities:

Review financial workflows and related administrative processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce duplication and streamline ways of working.
n
Analyse financial information and provide clear insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
n
Strengthen financial governance by supporting sound controls, accurate reporting and consistent financial practices across the organisation.
n
Ensure financial activities align with relevant accounting requirements, internal policies and established procedures.
n
Review existing finance systems and processes and contribute to the implementation of practical improvements.
n
Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and variance analysis activities.
n
Identify financial risks, process inefficiencies and opportunities to improve overall business performance.
n




Build productive relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally to support business and project outcomes.
n
Provide transparent financial advice and recommendations to managers and key decision-makers.
n

You will bring:
n
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
n
Experience in a Financial Accountant, Management Accountant, Finance Advisor or similar role.
n
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controls and governance practices.
n
Experience reviewing and improving financial or administrative processes.
n
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn financial information into practical recommendations.
n
High attention to detail and confidence working with complex financial information.
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
n
Sound Excel capability and experience working across financial systems.
n
A proactive approach with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
n
