Role
This role is for a Documents Administrator to join our friendly team in East Brisbane. We are seeking a positive individual who is willing to take on a challenging multi-faceted role in an often fast paced environment with a global client base. The major functions of the role are regular client liaison via email and phone in order to draft analysis reports and quality and weight certificates that form a critical part of export documentation. This documentation is required for the custody transfer of the shipment from the seller to the buyer. These documents are typically generated in MS word and Excel and issued as encrypted pdf files. The volume of work can vary depending on the season with the peak season typically occurring between December and July.



Other tasks include maintaining our laboratory database (FileMaker) and typical administrative word processing and data entry duties associated with a busy office.

Accuracy and speed with MS Word and Excel (Preferably on Apple Mac)
Professional and polite communication skills, both phone and email
Ability to work productively in a rapid-paced environment, comfortable multitasking whilst maintaining a strong focus on task completion
Ability to quickly learn new workflows and database skills
Candidate
The successful applicant will be a true multi tasker with excellent organisational skills that enable you to prioritise your work to meet deadlines. Attention to detail and accuracy are attributes that you must possess to succeed in the role. These attributes should be supported by the ability to work efficiently and occasionally under pressure with a calm demeanour. You will be required to plan, track and follow up your activities each day so will need to be extremely well organised.
