Yowani Country Club is one of Canberra's premier golf clubs located in the inner North of the City. The club has undergone a transformation over the last 2 years with a brand-new clubhouse and redesigned golf course completed in April. The restaurant and function room in the current clubhouse has magnificent lake and golf course views and will be a unique offering within the Canberra region.
About the role
Yowani Country Club is seeking a passionate, meticulous and dedicated
Chef de Partie, or Demi Chef looking to progress,
to be part of culinary operations in our brand-new clubhouse. The Chef de Partie supports the smooth operation of the kitchen by preparing high-quality food, maintaining kitchen standards and contributing to a positive, productive team environment. This role works closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation, production and presentation of food for the Restaurant and Functions Centre.
Maintain a consistent standard of high-quality, well-presented dishes that align with our property's guidelines and service timelines.
Ensure and follow industry best practice in relation to the handling,



storage and rotation of all stock items
Manage your kitchen section efficiently, ensuring a smooth service flow while providing assistance to other sections as needed
Keep the kitchen clean, secure, and organised, with a strong emphasis on food safety standards
Service-oriented, detail-focused, and passionate about delivering high-quality food.
Proven track record in a fast paced environment.
Strong communication, time management, and leadership skills.
Food Safety Certificate.
Full Australian working rights.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Knowledge of food safety requirements and kitchen operations
