Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a local government organisation on a contract basis, supporting the delivery of a diverse Capital Works program across civil and building projects.

You will be responsible for managing projects from inception through to handover, including contractor supervision, procurement, budgets, timelines, quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

Manage civil and building projects from planning through to completion
n
Supervise contractors and manage project delivery, costs and timelines
n
Review plans, specifications, SWMS and ITPs
n
Manage variations, contractor payments and project documentation
n
Liaise with contractors, consultants,



utilities and internal stakeholders
n
Provide technical engineering advice and project reporting
n
n
About you:
n
n
Degree/Diploma in Civil or Building Engineering, or equivalent experience
n
Demonstrated experience supervising civil/building construction projects
n
Robust knowledge of OH&S;, environmental and traffic management requirements
n
Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills
n
Construction White Card and current Australian driver's licence
