The successful applicant will be responsible for:
n
n
In-class teacher/learner liaison and support for students
n
Liaise with the Subject Coach as required for qualified support
n




Collaborative program writing and resource group teaching
n
Small group testing
n
CompletingIndividual
Educational Plans (IEPs) for individual students involving the student, staff and parents
n
Meeting with Head of Schools, Year Level Coaches, Counsellors, to address individual student needs
n
n
Skills, Education & Qualifications
n
n
Appropriate university degree and teaching qualifications - VIT registered
n
Minimum of 2 years experience in teaching
n
Knowledge of teaching and learning styles and study skills
n
Knowledge of the Australian curriculum
n
Respect and appreciation of young people and their learning needs
n
The ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents
n
Proven ability to incorporate technology into the curriculum
n
Have unrestricted work rights in Australia
