The Role
n
A key part of this role is meeting clients face-to-face and preparing individual tax returns from start to finish.
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
Conducting face-to-face client appointments, particularly individual tax returns
n
Preparing financial statements and business tax returns
n
Preparing Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
n
Identifying tax planning opportunities
n
Liaising with the ATO and managing client matters
n
Taking ownership of your work, with a team to support you
n

About You
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
2–4 years' experience in public practice accounting
n
Solid knowledge of individual income tax
n
Confidence conducting client meetings independently
n
Excellent communication and people skills
n
Strong attention to detail and organisation
n
Experience with Australian tax/accounting software such as Xero or MYOB
n
