About the role:
n
n
Develop and implement evidence-based plans, informed by functional behavioural assessments.
n
Reduce / eliminate RPs in accordance with current regulatory frameworks, and NDIS Practice Standards.
n
Provide leadership / operational and clinical support to direct reports.
n
Work alongside OTs, Speechies, Physios and RNs, sharing knowledge and supporting staff training in the safe implementation of BSPs.
n
Liaise with families, carers and support coordinators to ensure BSPs are practical and person-centred.
n
n
What you will bring:
n
n
NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner at Proficient level or above, with at least 4 years' clinical experience
n
A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Nursing
n
Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
n
Sound understanding of Restrictive Practices and behaviour support planning
n
A current driver's licence and First Aid Certificate, plus an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
n
