Toowoomba Motors Pty Ltd has a fantastic opportunity to join the team at Toyota as a Service Advisor. We are looking for a dynamic, customer service focused individual who thrives in a quick paced environment.
n
As a Toyota Service Advisor, the main focus is to be the primary contact between the dealership and the customer, for repair and maintenance service on vehicles. You will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our Toyota Service Centre. What you'll be doing
n
Providing a high level of customer service by responding to customer inquiries, booking services and managing their expectations throughout the repair process
n
Meeting and greeting Customers including Driveway Service.
n
Organising courtesy/loan vehicles for the Customer.
n
Assisting Customers with understanding their vehicle's maintenance requirements including:
n
Creating Repair Orders detailing service work required.
n
Estimating the cost and time needed to complete a job.
n
Keeping customers up to date with progress of vehicle repairs and recommending appropriate service and repair solutions
n
Gaining authorisation and organising completion of extra works when required
n
Handling customer concerns with their vehicle service.
n
Final costing, closing, and payment of repair orders.
n
Ensuring all customer documentation is accurately completed and following up on any outstanding items
n




Liaising with our Toyota-trained technicians to coordinate vehicle inspections, diagnose issues, and provide customers with accurate repair quotes and timeframes
n
Identifying and pursuing opportunities to upsell additional services to customers
n
Liaising between Customers and any sublet supplier
n
Providing exceptional after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction and build long-term relationships
n
Helping bring new business into the service department
n
Actively promoting the sale of Genuine Toyota parts, including tyres and batteries.
n
Promoting the dealership and the Toyota brand
n
Keeping work areas clean and up to date.
n
Maintain a safe work environment, adhere to WH&S; guidelines.
n
Assist with secure storage of vehicles and keys, and securing of the Service Department at day end.
n
What we're looking for
n
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information in plain language
n
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage a busy work environment
n
Exceptional computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite and able to learn new systems quickly.




n
Familiarity with automotive repair and maintenance processes
n
A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively with technicians, parts staff and management
n
A valid Manual QLD driver's licence and a commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Commitment to Toyota's goals and operational standards.

Desirable
Skills/Qualifications/Experience
n
Previous experience in the Service division of an Automotive Dealership
n
Sound knowledge of auto mechanics
n
Knowledge of TUNE/SAP and Toyota-specific systems and procedures
n
