As our project portfolio continues to grow across Australia and internationally, we're looking for talented Control Systems Engineers to join our Controls & Automation team.
You'll have the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and contribute across the full project lifecycle from design and programming through to commissioning and ongoing support.
About the Role
As a Control Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering automation solutions across the full project lifecycle, from concept and design through to commissioning and operational support.
Depending on your experience and project allocation, you'll have the prospect to work across:
Major mining and resource projects
Renewable energy developments
Infrastructure and heavy industry projects
Interstate and international project opportunities
You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, site personnel, and clients to deliver high-quality control systems that improve safety, reliability, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop industrial control systems
PLC and SCADA programming, configuration, and testing
Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and documentation
Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
Site commissioning and start-up support
Fault finding, optimisation, and system improvements




Client engagement and technical support throughout project delivery
Ensure compliance with relevant Australian standards and client specifications
About You
We're looking for engineers who are passionate about automation and enjoy solving complex technical challenges.
Experience with PLC and SCADA systems
Control systems design and commissioning experience
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work across both office-based engineering and site environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Highly Regarded
Experience within mining, resources, energy, or heavy industrial environments
Exposure to major automation platforms such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, GE, Ignition, Citect, AVEVA, or similar
Experience working on brownfield operational sites
Commissioning experience across multidisciplinary project teams
