Mechanical Plumbers (Qualified & Apprentices)

HPACS is a small, solid crew with 15+ years of steady work across Melbourne delivering HVAC solutions. We're recruiting a Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic / Mechanical Plumber and a Year 2 or Year 3 Apprentice who want real skills, real responsibility, and real support.

Key responsibilities

Installing HVAC systems in childcares, schools, offices and light commercial sites
n
VRF/VRV installs, commissioning, and service
n
Ducted reverse-cycle systems
n
Split & multi-split installs
n
Residential service work
n
Apprentice (Year 2 or 3):
n
Commercial HVAC installs
n
Ducted reverse-cycle systems
n
Split & multi-split installs & service
n
VRF/VRV exposure
n
Hands-on training
n
TAFE/RTO block release support
n

About you

n

Solid technical chops
n
A "do it right the first time" attitude




n
Driver's license + White Card
n
Apprentice (Year 2 or 3):
n
Year 2 or 3 Refrigeration & AC Apprenticeship
n
Curiosity + willingness to learn
n
Reliability + safety focus
n
Driver's license (or working toward it)
n
White Card (or willing to get one)
n
Fully maintained company vehicle
n
38-hour week + monthly RDO
n
Uniforms and training
n
Apprentice (Year 2 or 3 or 4th):
n
20% above award.
n
Vehicle support where needed
n
38-hour week + monthly RDO
