About the Role

Troocoo is partnering with a well established not for profit organisation to recruit a Senior Payroll Officer based in Murarrie. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will manage end to end payroll processing, with a focus on payroll governance, compliance, reporting and continuous improvement across a complex workforce.

Key Responsibilities

n

You will play a key role in maintaining payroll accuracy and integrity, while providing advice across employee entitlements, reporting and payroll related matters.

Manage end to end fortnightly payroll processing
n
Interpret awards, enterprise agreements and employment conditions
n
Manage payroll reconciliations, superannuation and salary packaging
n
Maintain payroll controls, compliance and audit requirements
n




Provide technical payroll advice to employees and managers
n
Support payroll process improvement and automation
n

About You

n

You will be confident working autonomously, managing competing deadlines and resolving complex payroll matters, with a solid eye for detail and a continuous improvement mindset.

n

Minimum five years of end to end payroll experience
n
Experience within a medium to large or complex workforce, ideally 500+ employees
n
Solid award and enterprise agreement interpretation experience
n
Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, taxation, superannuation and STP
n
Advanced Excel skills
n
ELMO, PayRTA or similar payroll system experience highly regarded
n
