VIP Towing & Transport is a well-established general transport specialist based in Altona, Victoria.

We have a loyal client base and primarily service the construction and infrastructure sectors across Melbourne and regional Victoria. We pride ourselves on our reputation, reliability and good old-fashioned customer service.

We are currently seeking an experienced Full time HC Driver to join our team, driving one of our late model Prime Movers towing flat top and drop deck trailers.

n

We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, is reliable and punctual, takes pride in their work and is a robust team player.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

n

Drive to scheduled locations to deliver and collect materials
n
Work safely and professionally on construction and infrastructure sites
n
Ensure loads are correctly restrained and secured
n
Complete required paperwork and delivery dockets
n
Maintain the truck to a high standard
n
Represent VIP Towing & Transport professionally at all times
n

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

n

n
Current HC Licence
n
Minimum 2 years HC experience
n
Valuable knowledge of Melbourne and regional Victorian roads
n
Strong knowledge of load restraint and tie-down procedures
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Reliable, punctual and well presented
n
Positive communication and customer service skills
n
Good driving record - VicRoads history report required
n
Dog and chain experience (advantage, not essential)
n
Forklift licence (advantage, not essential)
n
