About the Role
Chelgrave Contracting is seeking an experiencedMaintenance Plannerto join a high-profile food manufacturing operation based in Melbourne's inner suburbs.
This is acasual, Monday to Fridayrole, working fullyon site, responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Working closely with maintenance team, production teams, and external contractors, you will plan and schedule maintenance work usingSAP PMto minimise disruption across a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule and coordinatepreventative and corrective maintenanceactivities
Create, manage and close out maintenance work orders withinSAP PM
Liaise withmaintenance technicians, production teams and external contractorsto sequence work with minimal disruption to operations
Strong understanding ofGMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCPprinciples within a food manufacturing workplace
Maintain accurate maintenance records, asset data and job history withinSAP
Support compliance withfood safety, hygiene and quality standards




Identify opportunities to improve maintenance planning processes and equipment reliability
About You
Proven experience as aMaintenance Planneror in a similar maintenance coordination role
Proficient inSAP PM (Plant Maintenance module)
Experience within thefood manufacturing industry, or a strong understanding of its hygiene, safety and compliance requirements
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing maintenance demands
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with trades, operations and management
Available to work on site,Monday to Friday
