Looking for reliable casual workers to join our growing production team, day and afternoon shifts available.

Roofing Options is a well-established Australian roofing manufacturer and supplier with more than 30 years of steady growth. We're continuing to grow and are looking for a reliable, hands‐on person to join our Campbellfield production team on the afternoon shift.
n
This is a great opportunity for an experienced sheet metal worker looking for consistent casual hours, or someone with the right attitude who wants to learn a trade and build valuable manufacturing skills.
n
The Role
n
You'll be working as part of a close-knit production team, helping manufacture quality roofing products that are supplied to builders, roof plumbers and customers across Melbourne.
n
Every day is hands‐on and varied. You'll learn our machinery, processes and products, while working alongside experienced team members who are happy to teach you the ropes.
n
Your day‐to‐day work will include:
n
n
Operating folder and slitter machinery, with training provided where required
n
Measuring, folding and cutting sheet metal to specification
n
Reading job requirements and ensuring work is accurate
n
Assisting with general manufacturing and production duties
n
Keeping your work area organized and maintaining a safe working environment
n
Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
n

Who We're Looking For
n




We're more interested in the person you are and your attitude towards work than simply what's written on your resume.

If you're experienced:
n
If you've worked in sheet metal, operated folders or slitters, or have experience in light manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you. An MR truck license would also be highly regarded.
n
If you're current to the trade:
n
That's completely fine. If you're reliable, practical, comfortable working with measurements, willing to get your hands dirty and genuinely interested in learning, we'll teach you the skills you need.
