S.A.F.E. Logistics Operations Pty Ltd - Campbellfield VIC
Melbourne Operations and truck despatch Team leader role leading a team of 5 drivers to manage customer, local and interstate deliveries in the logistics field.
Key responsibilities
Loading/unloading freight from trucks.
Assisting Despatch Managerwith general responsibilities
Maintaining clean and tidy warehouse and trucks
Immediate start, hourly rate $35/hr (above the award)
All deliveries are on Pantech's with tailgate unload, but access to plenty of equipment available to minimise labour as much as possible
Hours can vary, but aiming for between ***** hours a week
mostly daytime hours with very little weekend
Employment progress available (casual, full time, hourly)
Regular opportunities to do long distance runs, including intrastate & interstate, for right candidate
About you
Good health and fitness level
Robust availability for shift work
Be a team player with good communication skills
Fluency in English
Previous experience in fragile freight or furniture is highly regarded
