About The Opportunity
n
Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals are recruiting for a Career Medical Officer to complement and enhance the current Anaesthetics department.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
Provide clinical management and treatment of patients in a SWSLHD facility under your care. This care will be provided within the clinical privileges granted by the CE on the advice of the SWSLHD Medical and Dental Appointments Advisory Committee.
n
Where You'll Be Working
n
Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals, part of the South Western Sydney Local Health District, work together to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the Macarthur region.
n
Campbelltown Hospital, a leading tertiary facility, offers a wide range of services including cardiology, maternity, palliative care, respiratory medicine, emergency medicine, and aged-care services. It also features specialised Mental Health and Cancer facilities. Camden Hospital complements these services by specialising in care for older persons with acute or chronic health conditions, including rehabilitation, palliative care, geriatric evaluation and management, and psychogeriatric care.

The hospitals share a close-knit, community-focused team dedicated to delivering safe, quality, and compassionate care. The ongoing multi-million dollar redevelopment at Campbelltown Hospital will further enhance its capabilities, introducing advanced equipment and amenities.

MBBS or equivalent, current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
n
Minimum 5 years Anaesthesia experience and previous experience in the critical disciplines of Intensive Care, Anaesthetic or Emergency Medicine.
n
Demonstrated ability to work in a complex clinical environment.
n
Demonstrated excellent clinical skills, clinical judgement and clinical expertise.
n
Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem solving skills in a clinical setting and in a multidisciplinary health care team.
n
Demonstrated participation in teaching and training at undergraduate and /or post graduate level, including supervision of junior medical staff.
n
Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and development, including evidence of participation in continuing medical education/ continuing professional development.
