The College has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mathematics Teacher to join the Senior School in a full-time position commencing in Term 1, ****.

Core Requirements:

Applicants for the position of Mathematics Teacher must demonstrate at a minimum that they:
n
are a committed Christian, who is active in the life of a Bible-based Evangelical Church.
n
support the College's vision of holistic Christian education.
n
conduct themselves in a manner in keeping with the College ethos and Code of Conduct at all times, modelling Christian maturity to the College community.
n
have the ability to teach across Stages 4-6 of the NESA Mathematics Syllabuses to ensure that the College provides quality education to students.
n




have exceptional communication and relational teaching skills.
n
have knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in schools.
n
holds a valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC).
n
are an accredited teacher with at least Conditional Teacher accreditation from NESA.
n
work effectively and collaboratively in a Faculty team.
n
the ability to teach all levels of Mathematics would be highly desirable.
n
Core Responsibilities:
n
The Mathematics Teacher should:
n
provide effective and innovative teaching practices for teaching Mathematics, reflecting the Christian ethos of the College, ensuring a high standard of outcomes for all students.
n
manage curriculum requirements for their classes, including programs, registers, assessment, feedback, and reporting.
n
manage student issues arising from their classes using the College's positive behaviour framework and implementing relevant College protocols.
n
implement College protocols and strategies.
n
provide effective pastoral care to students through leading a regular House Tutor group.
n
support co-curricular activities of the College.
