CSSD Technicians
to join our Central Sterilising Services Department on a casual basis.
As a valued member of our CSSD team, you will play a critical role in supporting safe patient care by ensuring surgical instruments and medical equipment are cleaned, sterilised, assembled and supplied to the highest standards.

About the Role
Reporting to the CSSD Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Decontamination, inspection, assembly and sterilisation of reusable medical devices
Preparing instrument trays and equipment for operating theatres and clinical areas




Ensuring compliance with infection prevention and sterilisation standards
Maintaining accurate documentation and tracking processes
Contributing to a secure, efficient and well-organised department
Working collaboratively with theatre and clinical teams to support patient care
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous CSSD experience within a hospital setting
Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (or working towards) desirable
Sound knowledge of sterilisation processes and infection control principles
