Job Description
Batlow District Hospital in regional NSW is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Acute care team on a 12-week contract basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an In Charge role, offering the chance to lead a busy ED workplace while supporting acute and aged care patients in a community hospital setting. If you're an RN with solid ED or acute experience and a track record of managing triage and clinical leadership, this could be the right fit.

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA




n
Demonstrated experience in Emergency Department, Acute, or Aged Care nursing
n
Proven In Charge or team leadership experience in a clinical setting
n
Triage experience and competence with the Australasian Triage Scale
n
Strong clinical decision-making and the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure
n

Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
n
Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or willingness to obtain
n
Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care
