Brisbane Isuzu is seeking an experienced
Light Vehicle Technician
to join our service team in Eagle Farm, Queensland. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of vehicle servicing and repair. As a Light Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of light vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction and contribute to the reputation of Brisbane Isuzu as a trusted automotive service provider.
Key responsibilities
Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks and tyre rotations
Diagnose vehicle mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment and testing procedures
Repair and replace vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems and brake systems
Conduct pre-delivery inspections and vehicle safety checks to ensure compliance with standards
Maintain accurate and detailed service records and work documentation
Follow manufacturer specifications and service procedures for all repair work
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended repairs
Keep the workshop area clean, organised and compliant with health and safety regulations
Identify and report any potential safety hazards or equipment maintenance needs
Work collaboratively with other technicians and service advisors to deliver quality service
What we're looking for
Current automotive trade qualification or equivalent recognised certification
Proven experience as a light vehicle technician or similar automotive repair role
Strong knowledge of light vehicle systems including mechanical,



electrical and hydraulic components
Proficiency with diagnostic tools, computerised equipment and workshop technology
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams and service specifications
A valid driver's licence and reliable means of transport
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to health and safety practices and compliance standards
