About the Opportunity
n
We are seeking a reliable, hard-working Automotive Sales Representative to service an established territory across Melbourne's western suburbs and regional Victoria.
n
You'll spend your days visiting tyre and mechanical workshops, building customer relationships, maintaining customer stock levels and identifying opportunities to grow sales.
n
You'll take over an established and profitable territory with an existing customer base while continuing to grow the business through excellent customer service and new account acquisition.
n
A fully maintained company vehicle, stocked with product and set up as a mobile shop, is provided.

About the Role
n
Success in this role comes from consistency: visiting customers as scheduled, maintaining a disciplined routine and actively looking for opportunities to grow sales. Consistent customer visits build long-term customer relationships and trust.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their territory, actively looks for opportunities and takes pride in growing it over time.
n
This role involves regularly introducing yourself to new workshops and cold calling prospective customers. Confidence in speaking with new people is essential.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
Following an established customer run and visit schedule.
n
Maintaining consistent call frequency across all customer accounts.
n
Building robust, long-term customer relationships.
n
Identifying opportunities to increase product range and sales within existing accounts.
n
Prospecting for and opening new customer accounts.
n
Accurately managing stock carried in your company vehicle.
n
Loading, unloading and handling stock throughout the day.
n
Providing outstanding customer service while representing All Tyre Supplies professionally.
n
The territory covers Melbourne's inner and outer western suburbs together with regional areas including (but not limited to) West Melbourne, Geelong, Melton, Ballarat, Warrnambool, Portland and surrounding districts.
n
You'll spend most of your working day driving between customer locations, with one overnight stay away from home each month.

To be successful you'll need:
n
Previous sales experience and a genuine desire to succeed.
n
Automotive or tyre industry experience (preferred but not essential).
n
Show initiative and actively look for opportunities to improve customer relationships and grow sales.
n
Confidence introducing yourself to new customers, cold calling and developing new business.
n
A disciplined approach to following structured customer visit schedules.
n
Comfortable spending most of your working day driving between customer locations.
n
Ability to lift and carry products weighing up to 20kg several times a day.
n
A current full Australian driver's licence.
n
Medium-Rigid Driver's license (can be acquired)
n
Secure off-street parking suitable for a large company vehicle.
