About the company
Our client is a leading Australian telecommunications and technology provider with a national footprint, renowned for delivering some of the country's most trusted network and technology experiences. This is a rare opportunity to work within their enterprise security function.
About the role
You'll join a managed Security Operations Centre engagement, delivering cyber defence services across incident response, threat detection, phishing triage and security monitoring. Working within a co-sourced SOC, you'll partner with customer stakeholders and internal security teams to support service delivery and continuous improvement.
Duties
Monitor, triage & respond to security incidents
Investigate & remediate phishing threats
Conduct threat hunting & security monitoring




Tune detection rules & improve processes
Report findings & recommendations to stakeholders
Skills & experience
SOC, Cyber Defence or Incident Response experience
Skilled in SIEM, SOAR, EDR & threat intel tools
Strong incident response & threat detection know-how
Excellent stakeholder communication skills
Security+, CySA+ or SC-200 highly regarded
