Seeking a QA/QC Officer to join the quality team
n
6-month casual contract, potential to extend
n
Must be able to workday shift (6am-6pm), night shifts (6pm-6am) and weekends
n
7-day fortnightly roster
n
Open to food science and chemistry graduates

Duties, but not limited to:
n
n
Collecting samples from manufacturing line
n




QC testing of raw materials and finished products using basic wet chemistry techniques (titrations, pH, brix, HPLC)
n
Batch release
n
Assisting with sensory evaluations
n
Data entry and result compilation
n
Check and fill-in quality paperwork
n
General housekeeping and maintenanceof lab
n
Ensure GMP standards
n
n
Skills/experience:
n
n
Tertiary educationin Food science, Chemistry, or similar
n
Prior experience in GMP regulated environment or laboratory is highly advantageous
n
Valuable understanding of chemistry analytical skills
n
Excellent communication skills and time management
n
